Anna Bastida

Anna's love of clay started when making mud pies as a child and blossomed into being a professional potter.  She gathers and processes naturally abundant local clays by hand. She mixes the clays with plant materials such as moss, bark, and leaves- a technique discovered from my knowledge of indigenous cultures of the Southeast.  She picks up glass garbage and recycles it into art by melting it with glaze materials to create this crystal geode appearance.  Her wish is for this art to connect you joyfully and lovingly with our mother Earth.  Enjoy!
 

Each of Anna's geode bowls is unique and different.  Allow us to pick one for you.  Sizes range from 5" to 24".
